I am a Postdoctoral Researcher and SUNY PRODIG Fellow at the University at Albany, working at the intersection of computing education and human-computer interaction (HCI) with Dr. Jeff Offutt. I use a mix of research methods—particularly qualitative and design-based approaches—and I’m interested in how emerging technologies like large language models (LLMs) and generative AI can shape educational futures.
Teaching and mentorship are at the heart of my academic path, and I’m dedicated to building learning spaces that inspire curiosity, support growth, and cultivate a sense of inclusion and belonging.
Previously, I completed my Ph.D. at Oregon State University in the EPIC Lab with Dr. Anita Sarma. During my doctoral studies, I was also involved in collaborations across academia and non-profits focused on broadening participation in computing.
